"Nanha diya" is a magnificent work of Satish Kumar Srivastava, which is the collection of his 24 poems, mainly personifying a small lamp burning and striving to live against the storms.. The book shares its art work from decent poems to inspirational, self-analysis and emotional issues as well as the writer put his focus on trust, life, women empowerment and honor filling poems to put one's lamp on fire, to inspire him and help him create a different perspective about life and his way of approach towards it. Since the author faced too much hardships in his life from his early childhood, he got a different eye on everything that surrounded him and he wants to speak all those noble thoughts through his poetry. Just like what the book is titled, Satish Kumar Srivastava got a vision to be a ‘nanha diya’ for the society that shows the path even in all the stormy and darkest nights. As the author believes, one enlightened soul can become a source to enlighten many more people.. just like the way one nanha diya can lit, numerous of other diya’s and eventually the world can be a better place full of vision, compassion, love and kindness. The complete book orbits the concept of ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah’ and all the poems are written with this theme that.. may all be blessed by the almighty and can pursue their dreams, visions and happiest moments in their lives so that the world can be free of mourns, agonies, hatred, jealousy and sufferings. Ultimately it’s definitely a lovely collection of poetry.
